SHINE – Repairs to the SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge linking Jefferson and Kitsap counties will no longer require closing the bridge for four weekends during peak summer travel season.

Weekend-long closure on SR 169 at Green River Bridge near Black Diamond begins Friday, April 14

BLACK DIAMOND – All lanes in both directions of State Route 169 at the Green River Bridge south of Black Diamond will close for expansion joint repair starting at 9 p.m. Friday, April 14. Missing Tacoma pilot results with discovery of aircraft and body near Queets

OLYMPIA – On Monday, April 10, Washington State Department of Transportation Air Search and Rescue crews successfully identified a missing 2006 Cessna T182 Turbo Skylane piloted by Rod Collen in the wooded forests near Queets. The pilot was discovered deceased inside the aircraft, likely dying upon impact.

Construction at Leland Creek brings temporary traffic changes to US 101 starting April 7

QUILCENE – On April 7, travelers will start experiencing one-way alternating traffic around the clock on a bypass for US 101 at Leland Creek. Crews will build a bridge over the creek to improve fish migration.

ISSAQUAH – Multi-day lane reductions will return to Interstate 90 between Preston and Issaquah starting Monday morning, April 10. The interstate will be reduced to one lane, 24 hours a day, a total of eight times this spring - six westbound and two eastbound.

Weekend-long northbound I-5 lane reductions in Lynnwood, April 7-10

SHORELINE – The first of many highway preservation projects in King, Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties will kick off in Lynnwood this weekend, April 7-10. Two lanes of northbound Interstate 5 at 44th Avenue and both directions of Alderwood Mall Boulevard will close for concrete bridge deck work.
