Paving work begins July 17 on SR 28 between Rock Island and East Wenatchee
EAST WENATCHEE – A contractor for the Washington State Department of Transportation will begin paving work on State Route 28 between East Wenatchee and Rock Island on Monday, July 17.

Work to expand fish habitat under SR 96 near Mill Creek begins Monday, July 10
MILL CREEK – Westbound State Route 96 near Mill Creek will close for three weekends this summer as part of a project to install a new fish passage along North Creek. Eastbound SR 96 also will be reduced to a single lane those weekends.

SPOKANE – A celebratory ribbon cutting on Monday, July 10, will mark the grand opening of Spokane’s new East Trent Bridge that crosses the Spokane River on State Route 290/Trent Avenue.
Work starts on new Bethel Avenue and Bay Street roundabout in Port Orchard
PORT ORCHARD – A project in Port Orchard will replace an aging traffic signal with a modern roundabout. Construction is set for the intersection of Bethel Avenue (State Route 166) and Bay Street with preliminary work scheduled to start July 6. Depending on weather, the roundabout will open this fall.
