2010 - WSDOT awards $962,206 in second round of 2009-2011 Airport Aid Grants
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Aviation has awarded approximately $962,206 in Airport Aid grants to 38 airports for 43 different projects. This is the second and final round of Airport Aid grants in the 2009-2011 biennium.
WSDOT Aviation also used about $432,944 in state funds to leverage over $7 million in federal grants for Washington airports.

Exact grant amounts are subject to change according to final project bid totals.
WSDOT will solicit applications for the first round of 2011-2013 grants during April and May 2011.
WSDOT's grant program is funded through an 11-cent-per gallon fee on aviation fuel, along with aircraft registration fees.
