Design memorandum are issued as interim updates to the Bridge Design Manual. Active design memorandums supersede the Bridge Design Manual contents and are currently enforced.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) makes these documents available on an "as is" basis. The AutoCAD files (*.DWG) were converted as a service to our customers that use Bentley MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Receiver agrees that WSDOT cannot be held responsible for problems arising from files which have been converted. Since revisions or additions to the design file drawings may occur at any time, the Receiver agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless WSDOT, its officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, suits, losses, damages or costs, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from the use of outdated design file drawings, and such indemnification shall survive acceptance of said file(s) by receiver.
