Project overview
This project will stabilize 6 slopes with rock slope scaling to remove rockfall debris adjacent to the roadway. Work will also repair and install wild life fencing and pavement.
Slopes are located on US 97A at milepost 211.26 - 211.42 and on SR 971 between milepost 10.27 and 11.49.

What to expect
Rock scaling work on SR 971 began March 7 with a complete road closure between milepost 10 and 11.64. The road reopened to traffic April 14. Some finish work such as pavement repair will be done later this spring and will require flagger controlled traffic.
Snow and rain forced a delay of day long closures on US 97A at milepost 211, south of Entiat. Day long closures on US 97A April 25 and wrapped up May 6.
