People in the vicinity of State Route 539/Guide Meridian between Front and Main streets in Lynden saw construction begin in early August on the Duffner Ditch fish passage project.
Beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 18, contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation closed SR 539 between Front and Main streets through Friday, Sept. 22
