Project overview
Beginning in spring 2025, contractor crews working for WSDOT will repave SR 129 through downtown Clarkston. Work may include intersection improvements like roundabouts or traffic signals at the intersection of 6th, Maple and Diagonal Streets, and 5th and Diagonal Streets. Various improvements for pedestrians and bicyclists are also included. The project will create a safer and more accessible system for all users.
What to expect
Community members attended an open house on March 1, 2023, about improvements planned for SR 129 in Clarkston. WSDOT will look for trends in the feedback and incorporate suggestions where feasible. Budget constraints, future development and engineering requirements will help shape the final design.
This project is currently in the planning state. Construction details will be provided next year once the project design is finalized.
